Our Story
Rebus started with a simple but powerful belief — that education has the potential to create better spaces for us all. Since our founding in 2016, we've grown from an open source software provider into a professional development organization with a global community of educators, learners, and changemakers. Along the way, we've learned just as much from the people we work with as from the people we taught.
Today, we show up as a thought partner, learning provider, community builder, consultant, and cheerleader for educators doing meaningful work in classrooms, institutions, and beyond. Together, we envision a liberatory future where lifelong learning is valued as a public good and communities leverage education as a catalyst for positive change.

Our Mission
We serve individuals and organizations across all levels of education. We offer guidance, community, and spaces for educators to collaborate on pedagogy and publishing. Through our programs and networks, we encourage educators to rediscover passion, purpose, and potential in their work so all learners can embrace the ripple effects of education.
